The Armstrong 3020ARM Call Point are designed to offered uncompromising
quality and realiability regardless of configurations in the aspect
of installation efficiency, flexibility and full compliance with
the latest BS 5839: PT2 and EN54: PT 11. To facilitate the compatibility
to majority of central control equipment manufactured in the world.
A variety of monitoring resistors value are available by request
to make Armstrong Call Point easily adopted to most fire alarm system
world wide. The Call Point are constructed from fire retardants
ABS engineering plastic thus withstand high impact strength and
high resistance to heat.
Designed to meet BS 5839: PT2 and EN54: PT 11.
Each contact provided double terminal for independent input and
output connections especially for looping to ensures perfect continuity.
Variety of colours available. Special tool operating test facility.
Simple but secure and comply with health and safety requirement.
Protective film on glass thus protecting the operator from glass
fragments.
The XPlorer manual call point is designed for surface mounting and incorporates the call point assembly and a black box.
The address of each call point is set at the commissioning stage by means of a six-segment DIL switch, giving a range of addresses from 64 to 126.
A single alarm LED provided on the call point. This LED is controlled, independently of the call point, by the CIE. Call points can be remotely tested from the control and indicating equipment by transmission of a single bit in the communications protocol. Call points responds by providing a value of 64, which corresponds to the alarm value. The CIE will recognise this response as a test signal and will not raise a general alarm.
When activated, the XP95 manual call point not only interrupts the polling cycle to indicate to the control panel that it has been operated, but also reports its address. Thus an alarm and its location can be reported in less than 0.2 seconds.
This manual fire alarm call point has been designed for use in flammable atmospheres and harsh environmental conditions. The GRP enclosure is suitable for use offshore or onshore where light weight combined with a high level of corrosion resistance is required.
